How does Kinesiology help to release adrenal stress and toxins from the body?

“I am bursting! I need to pee!!” – many clients say to me after shifting and clearing some old and stagnant energy in their bodies. (OK, some prefer to express their need as “go to the loo”). Sometimes they really cannot even wait until the end of the session 🙂

Ok, it seems that it relates to past mental stress, adrenal stress and fatigue that the body is trying to handle.

What has… ‘wee’ to do with ‘healing’?

During any healing session, Kinesiology included, there are deep releases of tension, stagnation and toxins happening at a cellular level.
Hormones that are not used, unhealthy food that our body does process well from our emotional eating, toxins from food, thoughts and environment.
 

How does stress get released from the body?

Stress here is interpreted as what stresses the bodily functions depending on what we may overly ingested or overly produce inside our body.

Let’s talk briefly about our excretory organs. The main ones are:

  • Large Intestine
  • Kidneys
  • Liver
  • Skin
  • Bladder
The Large Intestines, Liver are mostly and generally responsible to eliminate wastes from what is ingested, after the digestion process.
The Kidneys, Bladder and even the skin are responsible for filtering the blood, eliminating what was not absorbed by the cells, thus continue to be floating along through the blood.
 

What is the relationship between the Kidneys and stress?

In a nutshell the Kidneys and Adrenal glands work very closely together. The adrenals release cortisol and adrenaline, the stress hormones whenever we feel unsafe, in danger, rejected, tired, unworthy, hopeless and so on. The kidneys strive for filtering and purifying the blood, getting rid of waste and toxins (which can also be hormones in excess).

Throughout each day we can experience a range of situations our bodies interpret as survival, which in fact is a “false alarm” from a faulty mind perception mechanism (we all have it, until we fully integrated our emotional brain and our rational brain). So many of the stress hormones produced aren’t actually used (we don’t necessarily fly, or fight, or run away), so the poor Kidneys need to work extra hours being given the task to release this extra hormones – which excess becomes toxins to the body.
 
When there are too many situations like that without the necessary release, the does get lodged in the blood stream.  Some toxins find fatty tissue to live in, some find joints, and some keep floating around making us feel sluggish. 

How to help the body detox?

It is actually much easier than we think.  We don’t need to be extreme
We can naturally help the body detoxification process by replacing some habits and food, step-by-step intake such as:

  • avoid excessive sugar, coffee, sodas
  • prefer organic vegetables or meet to processed food
  • chose carefully personal hygiene products that are applied onto the skin
  • chose carefully your thoughts to be happy, positive and optimism the best way you can
  • give yourself the gift of healing (energetic healing, massages, naturopathy)
  • find your ways to become your own healer that you can apply in stressful situations, until they don’t affect you as much anymore
  • find your own version of feeding your soul (be in nature, find your meditation style, adventure yourself in yoga)
  • drink plenty of quality water

Remember:  Even though you cannot see what your body is doing, carrying or performing, you can FEEL and TRUST your symptoms.  Feeling tired and sluggish regularly is not normal, frequent headaches are not normal and you are not bound to live with physical pain. Health and freedom are always at your reach.
