What is Embodiment?

Embodiment is a trendy word in the personal development rooms right now.

There are so many ways to see, explain and explore Embodiment …

In essence, Embodiment is the process of moving from your mind into your body.

So, what does Embodiment help you with?

Many of us have unknowingly disconnected from our body due to different types of hidden traumas that we’ve experienced in life.

That affects our confidence, our ability to take action and thrive.

In a state of disconnection from our body, it’s difficult to access our intuition, or to trust our gut instincts. It can also be difficult to be present and in the moment. 

Embodiment practices can help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, digestive problems and more.

Embodiment can help us to BE who we want to be.

I particularly teach my Soulpreneurs clients and students to Embody their Soul Brand Personality.

They start to go being just “learning a concept” in their head, but actually BECOMING it, because growing starts to feel safe and less painful.

When you’re embodied, you don’t need to explain or try to prove to people that you’re powerful; they can just feel it, by the way you stand, by the gestures you use, by the tone of your voice, by the way you carry yourself… you just ARE powerful.

So many tools and processes can be used for embodiment:  movement, sound, breathwork, visualization, martial arts, art therapy, singing, etc….

Here are three ways you can begin to start being more embodied even from today:

1. Start to love the unloved parts of you.

One of the quickest paths to full embodiment is to direct love towards the unloved parts of yourself. Maybe there are parts that feel vulnerable, insecure or not good enough.  Once those parts receive some acknowledgement and compassion from you, your self-confidence will start to reawaken.

Love even your failure, as it is a step you’ve taken.


2. Grasp the meditation state and integrate different parts of yourself.

When you learn how to be in a meditative state (rather than just trying to meditate)  you can begin to embody more possibilities and ways of being.

When I guide my clients and students of the Soul Signature Program,  they practice being more confident and fearless.  They also chose who they are becoming.

Instead of rejecting or avoiding shadow parts of yourself you don’t admire, you learn to give yourself permission to be “all of it” – messy and powerful, loving and scared, strong and soft.

You get to grow and accept yourself more, so you allow new qualities to energy from within you, which will also influence how you present yourself in life and business.

3. Listen to your body & nervous system.

One of the quickest paths to full embodiment, is to start listening to your body & nervous system.

When you’re scared, knowing how to regulate your Nervous System will help you to slow down and soothe yourself.

When you’re tired, once you have embodied self-love, you take the action to  rest even though your mind will try to push yourself to accomplish something.

Living in an embodied way enhances the relationship between you and your needs and wants through your intuitive intelligence.  


It serves your business, especially your personal brand, when people get attracted to how confident you are in yourself.
